To enrol, go to www.liqcon.com.au/goodsports and use the password “Goodsports”.
Select the RSA course, click “Book” and complete the enrolment process.
As part of the enrolment process, you are required to enter a unique student identifier, a USI. Don’t have a USI or forgotten what it is? Go to www.usi.gov.au and follow the prompts – this is an easy process and will only take a few minutes, but is required in order to undertake the RSA course. This is a nationally accredited RSA course hence the enrolment process required. The good news is this RSA certification can be used in all states and territories in Australia.
Once enrolled you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk or spam folder before enrolling again. Multiple registrations take up seats, which are capped per course, and maximise courses preventing additional bookings therefore not allowing others to register or attend.

Sporting clubs play in important role in our community. They can be important places of social connections and support, as well as influential structures where attitudes and behaviours, including those towards women and girls, are formed and upheld.
Sporting clubs also have an important responsibility to ensure all members are safe and free from discrimination and harassment. This can be achieved by creating and supporting fair, inclusive and respectful sporting environments on and off the playing field.
Active Bystander training seeks to support fair, inclusive and respectful sporting environments through skilling participants to not only identify and challenge sexism, but other forms of discrimination such as racism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia. Active Bystander training equips participants to step in when they see or hear sexist or discriminatory language, jokes, behaviours or practices across a range of sports settings and scenarios.
Research shows that promoting bystander action across your sporting club can support a range of benefits. Some examples of this include:
- Improved club culture and relationships for all members.
- Attract and retain talent and increase performance and morale.
- Save money and increase profits.
- Support positive change and enhance your reputation.
- Contribute to the prevention of violence against women.
This opportunity has been made possible thanks to the Change Our Game - Community Activation Grants program.

Innovation Program
over 2 years agoShare Innovation Program on Facebook Share Innovation Program on Twitter Share Innovation Program on Linkedin Email Innovation Program linkHave your service options become a bit stale?
Have your participation numbers dropped or you’re looking to increase your numbers?
This face to face, full day workshop has been designed or the current and future leaders in your club – this doesn’t necessarily mean committee members, but those who will help your club grow moving forwards. These can be coaches that engage with participants, or individuals involved with clubs who have strong connections with different community groups.
This workshop will give you an overview on what innovation really means, and its benefits in community sport.
You will be taken through activities to assess your club’s current operations, and look for opportunities to ‘do things differently’ and brand your club in the community to be on front foot and bounce forward strongly.
We will give you ideas and clarity on:
- diverse income streams;
- adapting to change;
- new membership options;
- looking at things in a different way;
- mitigating risk; and
- future thinking;
Especially having being faced with the challenges to community sport in the last few years, clubs can often get stuck in the mindset of ‘doing things as we have always done’ and bogged down in the day-to-day operations. Through this session, we will work through activities and exercises that allow you to have some ‘blue sky thinking’ for your club, and look at the opportunities that you might be able to capitalise on with the right structures and thought processes in place to be innovative.
Innovation can really help your club to improve productivity, reduce costs, uncover new partnerships and increase your club's brand awareness. This session is incredibly important to ensure that your club is truly open to all in the community, and that you can offer the participation options and services that appeal to different demographics.
Encourage those that can be actively involved in the progression of your club into the future!
‘Innovation Program’
Saturday July 2, 2022.
