As part of Manningham’s Vibrant Villages Activity Centre Action Plan (2023), Templestowe Village was identified as a priority site for a streetscape upgrade to enhance the public realm with a more vibrant, welcoming and accessible village experience for everyone.
The Templestowe Village Streetscape Upgrade project will focus on:
Creating better pedestrian spaces and outdoor trading areas
Enhancing accessibility and circulation throughout the precinct
We know this project affects many people and we’re committed to hearing from all of you. Whether you’re a local business owner, a resident, or a visitor, your voice matters as we want to reflect the needs and aspirations of everyone who visits the Village.

We’re gathering feedback about what’s important to you through an ideation survey taking place from 29 October to 30 November.
Review of EOI and selection of focus groups

December 2025 - January 2026
We will review all feedback received from the survey and EOI process. The feedback will inform our focus group sessions and development of the draft concept plan.
Focus group workshops
this is an upcoming stage for Templestowe Village Streetscape Upgrade
February - March 2026
A series of focus groups will be hosted to workshop your ideas and feedback. We will then evaluate, consider and share key findings.
Concept plan development

Mid-2026
We will consider all feedback and recommendations from the ideation survey and focus group sessions. Based on this, a draft concept plan will be prepared.
Draft concept plan consultation
this is an upcoming stage for Templestowe Village Streetscape Upgrade
Mid-2026
Consultation begins for the draft concept plan through online and in-person surveys to investigate the extent of support for the concept design.
Final detailed design

Late-2026
The final draft concept plan will be endorsed and a final detailed design prepared.
