How will the EOI process take place for the focus group?
If you would like to participate in an in-person focus group to help inform the design of the Templestowe Village Streetscape Upgrade, please let us know via the survey. There will be a short selection process and we will be in touch with further details.
The focus group will include a mix of local businesses, residents and community.
What is being delivered within the upgrade?
The upgrade may include:
What is out of scope?
Works within privately-owned car parks or strata titles and changes to buildings on private land are not included. Any developments on private land are not included.
What opportunities will be available for the community to provide feedback?
We will be inviting feedback over a four-week survey starting from 29 October.
Prefer to have a chat? Visit us at the Templestowe Village Pod near 114 James Street.
How will the community be kept informed of outcomes?
The community will be kept informed through a range of communication channels:
Will there be more parking spaces?
The scope of this project does not include provision of additional parking spaces as we do do not have any surplus land available.
Will businesses be bought by Manningham Council for resale?
We have no plans to purchase any businesses in Templestowe for resale. We understand that rumours have circulated suggesting otherwise, but these claims are unfounded.
Our focus remains on supporting local businesses through planning, infrastructure and community initiatives - not acquiring or reselling them.
If you have concerns or have heard specific claims, we encourage you to reach out directly so we can clarify and ensure accurate information is shared.
