The Recreational Bike Facilities Plan was endorsed for delivery at the Council meeting on Tuesday 28 October.


What's happening?

We’re gearing up to improve bike riding facilities across Manningham over the next 10 years and have developed a draft Recreational Bike Facilities Plan to guide this work.

The plan outlines eight proposed locations for new or improved recreational cycling facilities that cater to all ages and skill levels.

Our vision is to build a network of recreational cycling facilities across Manningham that include Pump Tracks, Flow Trails and Bike Playgrounds.

We want everyone to be able to have fun, socialise and build confidence and riding skills in these spaces.

1. Fitzsimons Reserve


5. St Clems Reserve


2. Jenkins Park


6. Stintons Reserve


3. Katrina Gully


7. Wonga Park Reserve


4. Morris Williams Reserve


8. Zerbes Reserve

Information collected by Council will be used for the purposes of developing the Recreational Bike Facilities Plan. The results of the Draft Recreational Bike Facilities Plan community survey may be published (including using the Council’s social media channels) once deidentified. The personal information collected will not be disclosed to third parties unless Council is required to disclose the information under other legislation or disclosure is necessary to complete the purpose for which it is sought. If Council does not collect this information, it may be impeded from accurately analysing aspects of the survey results.
