Walker Reserve expansion and upgrade
What’s happening?
We're upgrading Walker Reserve in Doncaster.
Walker Reserve expansion
To create more open space for the community we’re expanding Walker Reserve. We’ve acquired two properties at 34 and 36 Clay Drive, Doncaster and demolition of the dwellings and out buildings is scheduled for mid-September 2025.
Demolition works are now complete.
Walker Reserve upgrade
We’re planning to make improvements to Walker Reserve for the community to enjoy.
Proposed improvements include:
- a new concrete path linking Walker Street, Clay Drive and Arthur Street
- a new playspace and nature play area
- drinking fountain
- new seating and picnic tables
- more trees for shade and greenery.
