The reserve names have now been approved by the Registrar for Geographic Names Victoria (GNV) and added to VICNAMES, the official register of Victorian place names.


Why was it needed?

To make reserves and open spaces at Tullamore Estate easier to find, use and enjoy.


Where is it?

The reserves are located within Tullamore Estate in Doncaster, on Doncaster Road between High Street and Williamsons Road.


What's next? 

Permanent signs showing the new reserve names will be installed at each location from July 2026 and take around a month to complete.

    Local parks and open space have been named after the local road they are located on, in line with our Naming of Reserve Policy. The proposed names have also been developed in accordance with the Naming rules for places in Victoria (2022). Only submissions that comply with these rules will be considered.
