Tullamore Estate Reserve Naming FAQ

    What is this project about?

We are naming the reserves and open spaces within Tullamore Estate in Doncaster and are seeking community feedback on the proposed names.

Why are the reserves being named?

Naming the reserves will make them easier for the community to locate, use and enjoy. Clear names also support emergency services, maintenance, navigation and mapping.

    Where are the reserves located?

The reserves are within Tullamore Estate, Doncaster, situated on Doncaster Road between High Street and Williamsons Road.

How were the proposed names developed?

Local parks and open space have been named after the local road they are located on, in line with our Naming of Reserve Policy. The proposed names have also been developed in accordance with the Naming rules for places in Victoria (2022).

How can I have my say?

You can provide your feedback by completing the online survey.

The survey is open from Friday 14 November until 5:00pm on Monday 15 December.

Do submissions need to follow any rules?

Yes. To be considered, all submissions must comply with the Naming Rules for Places in Victoria and be received by the closing date: 5:00pm, Monday 15 December.

What happens after the survey closes?

After the survey period ends, we will review all feedback and finalise the proposed names. The names will then be submitted to Geographic Names Victoria (GNV) for approval.
