Tullamore Estate Reserve Naming
Thank you for your feedback. The consultation summary report, including a recommendation to proceed with the proposed names, was considered at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
At its meeting, Council endorsed the recommendation to proceed with the proposed reserve names for Tullamore Estate in Doncaster.
The endorsed names will be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion in the official register of Victorian place names, VICNAMES. This will take up to 90 days.
What’s happening?
We’re naming the reserves at Tullamore Estate in Doncaster.
Local parks and open space have been named after the local road they are located on, in line with our Naming of Reserve Policy. The proposed names have also been developed in accordance with the Naming rules for places in Victoria (2022).
Where is it?
The reserves are located within Tullamore Estate in Doncaster, on Doncaster Road between High Street and Williamsons Road.
Why is it needed?
We’re naming the reserves and open spaces at Tullamore Estate to make them easier to find, use and enjoy.

Iskandar Reserve has been updated from the previously listed Iskander Reserve.
What happens next
The endorsed names will be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion in the official register of Victorian place names, VICNAMES. This will take up to 90 days.
If you previously submitted an objection, you have the opportunity to appeal Council’s decision.
All objectors have been sent correspondence outlining the decision and the appeals process. All appeals must be received by Thursday 30 April 2026.

Permanent signage will be installed at the reserves once the process is complete.
