Some exciting changes are coming to MC Squarein 2026.
MC Square in Doncaster the home or our soon to be complete co-working space.



UpSpace fit out and toilet upgrades on Level 2

We’re transforming the Doncaster and Templestowe rooms to create UpSpace, our new coworking business hub. This new facility will support local businesses and professionals to work, network and access support to help them grow.

UpSpace will feature:

  • an open plan area with 27 individual desks
  • two sound-proof focus pods
  • a meeting room with video conference equipment
  • a private kitchen
  • high speed internet and printing facilities
  • a reception area.

We are also upgrading the Level 2 toilets to complement the presentation and functionality of UpSpace, enhancing the quality of the shared amenities at MC Square.


MY Hub upgrades on Level 1

We’re upgrading our youth space, MY Hub, to create a modern, fit for purpose space that will better support services for young people in Manningham.

The internal fit out will include the following new features:

  • soundproofing and acoustic improvements to the consulting rooms
  • secure corridor to separate the consulting rooms and staff area for added privacy
  • staff office area
  • furniture in all areas
  • kitchen and dining area
  • sign-in kiosk.

Works are expected to take around 5months, finishing in April/May 2026.

    An exciting transformation is underway from January 2026 to bring UpSpace to life – a modern co-working business hub designed to empower and grow Manningham’s small business community.

    Located in the vibrant heart of Doncaster Hill, UpSpace takes its name from its elevated setting and purpose, which is to uplift local businesses.

    Plans for the facility include:

    • a welcoming reception
    • 27 desk spaces
    • a meeting room
    • 2 private focus pods
    • guest lockers
    • a fully equipped kitchen
    • high-speed internet, video conferencing and print facilities
    • terrace access with seating, plants and panoramic views.

    In addition to the new co-working hub, upgrades will also be made to the existing MY Hub youth services facility. All services will remain open during the works, with MY Hub temporarily moving to Level 3 at MC Square.

    Works are expected to take 5 months, finishing around April/May 2026.

    From Saturday 6 December until the works are complete, the Manningham Youth Services team will be relocated to the Manningham Civic Centre, situated in the rooms to the right of the entryway.

    Programs and activities, including Drop In, will take place in the temporary MY Hub at Suite 9 Level 2, in the space that was previously used by Access Health.

    Signs will be placed at MC Square and the Civic Centre to guide visitors.

    Located in the vibrant heart of Doncaster Hill, UpSpace takes its name from its elevated setting and purpose, which is to uplift local businesses.

    Our Mayor, Councillor Deirdre Diamante said the hub represents a significant step in Council’s ongoing commitment to nurturing local businesses through practical support and collaborative initiatives.
