Larnoo Playground Upgrade

Larnoo Playground is a favourite playspace for children with interesting play opportunities in a bushland setting in Doncaster East.

What is happening?

We know families in our local community love Larnoo Playground and we're seeking your input to help us plan for the upgrade.

Based off community consultation, the proposed upgrade will include new play equipment, new park furniture, a new shade sail, and new tree and garden bed planting.

Construction will begin in early 2026 – subject to contractor availability.

This project is part of our Parks Improvement Program and will be delivered under our 2025/26 open space capital works program.

Where is it?

Larnoo Playground is located next to Gumnut Gully Pre-School on the Mullum Mullum Creek Linear Park.

When is it happening?

Construction is set to commence in early 2026. This schedule is subject to weather and contractor availability.

How will the works affect me?

The playground will be closed during construction. The nearest alternative playground is Schafter Reserve, 700 metres away at Schafter Drive Doncaster East and Lyndal Reserve, 750 metres away at Lyndal Close Doncaster East.

We will make every effort to minimise any disruption to residents and visitors.
