Consultation has concluded

The Burgundy Reserve upgrade is complete, delivering new and improved facilities for the community to enjoy.

What’s new?

The upgraded reserve includes:

  • a new concrete perimeter path, including a new shared path along the southern side of Burgundy Reserve connecting Burgundy Drive to Cellar Way.
  • a new seating
  • a new playground
  • a new shelter
  • a new picnic area
  • a new toilet
  • fencing and planting.

We'll install lighting as part of the final stage of the project by late-July 2026.

What’s happening?

Burgundy Reserve is a much-loved community space visited by dog owners, cyclists, walkers and families. This upgrade will be funded by our Capital Works Program together with a $400,000 grant from the Victorian Government’s New Upgraded Dog Parks Program.

Consultation on our updated concept plan has now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. We appreciate your time and will use your feedback to finalise the design for the Burgundy Reserve upgrade.

View the final design.

Why is it needed?

The last major upgrade at Burgundy Reserve was over 20 years ago and the current play equipment has reached the end of its useful life. This project presents a valuable opportunity to refresh the playspace and surrounding reserve. The upgrade is part of our Parks Improvement Program and will be delivered under our capital works program.

When is it happening?

Construction is now complete.
