Wombat Bend Playground Upgrade- Final Design

We are excited to announce that the final design for the Wombat Bend Playground Upgrade is now complete! You can view the design here.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed feedback during the first and second rounds of consultation. Your insights have helped shape a space that reflects the community's needs and aspirations.

The upgrade will feature a new waterplay area and an improved sand play zone, including an accessible sand table and digger. Additional enhancements include a larger climbing unit, accessible glider, carousel, slide, and trampoline, and five swing bays with accessible seats. The design also introduces a nature play area, a new fitness station, and surface upgrades throughout. To support comfort and usability, we’ve added extra and improved amenities such as seating, shade, shelter, a drinking fountain, and an open grass area.
