We are developing a new landscape masterplan for Manningham’s most loved park, Ruffey Lake Park. The masterplan will provide clear direction for the future design and development of the park over the next 15 years.
The masterplan will take into consideration:
- Pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle access, circulation, linkages and parking
- Recreational and organised park usage
- The safety of park users
- The park’s furniture and landscape elements
- How we manage and interpret the parks heritage values
- How we maintain or improve the parks visual amenity
- Tree planting, bushland conservation and weed management
- Play environments and play spaces
- Events planning and management
- Signage, wayfinding and interpretation
- Public arts and memorials.
