We are developing a strategic masterplan for MTLC. The masterplan will identify the future strategic direction, infrastructure requirements and provide options to support our community.
We are committed to improving the health and well-being of residents through increased participation in physical activity. A key strategy to achieve this is to provide quality recreation and leisure facilities to support increased participation opportunities.
The objectives of the project are to:
Create a clear vision and plan for future infrastructure development
Provide direction on future use and future facility requirements, including a focus on providing compliant infrastructure
Identify current risks and provide recommendations to Council on how each risk can be addressed
Assess the flora and fauna of the park and provide strategies to protect and enhance it
Identify opportunities to improve the visibility, accessibility and connectivity of the park for local residents use
Identify any alternate uses for the facility, responding directly to the Recreation Strategy’s priority of providing flexible, multi-use spaces for the community
Help us to determine priorities for future upgrades
Develop concept plans for infrastructure developments
Consultants @Leisure Planners will assist in the development of the plan. This page will be updated as the project progresses. Stay tuned for opportunities on how you or your group can have your say. You can provide your initial thoughts and comments on the forum below.
