Consultation has concluded

The new design includes a large climbing / slide unit, five-way swings, a separate basket swing and spinning element. There will also be new seats, picnic table, concrete shared paths through the reserve along with trees and plants.

A dry creek bed will lead to a shady valley under the trees for nature play. Subject to Melbourne Water approval, a new basketball / netball half court will be built in the basin. It is also proposed to widen the paths through the reserve to provide a bike / scooter circuit. The wooden boat structure will be removed.
