After over 20 years, it's time for a refresh of the Katrina Gully Reserve playspace which will include new play equipment, furniture, landscaping and basketball pad.

The new outdoor fitness hub will include various fitness equipment suitable for many fitness levels and age groups. The equipment will provide a complete workout to promote physical activity among visitors.

The existing shade sail at Katrina Gully Reserve will be getting a facelift as part of the playspace upgrade. We're also exploring ways to add extend the shade area, including planting new trees within the playspace itself.

As part of the Katrina Gully Reserve upgrade, we're proposing a brand-new basketball pad. The current one is cramped due to its location between the existing playground and large tree, so we're relocating it to widen the court area.

Subject to further design investigation, the attached consultation flyer indicates where the three main areas will be located. These specific locations have been chosen to optimise the play value and overall connectivity within the reserve.

Both the pedestrian path and shared path will not form part of this upgrade. Any future upgrade to the existing path network will be subject to funding.

Katrina Gully Reserve does not meet the criteria for the provision of a public toilet. 

Due to the lack of services including off street car parking, the provision of a toilet facility was not deemed suitable for this site. Additionally no funding has been provided for a toilet as part of this upgrade.

Due to the lack of services including off street car parking, the provision of a barbecue facility was not deemed suitable for this site. Additionally no funding has been provided for a barbecue as part of this upgrade.
