Upgrade works starting soon

Major works to upgrade Jumping Creek Road are set to begin after Easter.

Works will be happening on Jumping Creek Road between Vine Crescent and Homestead Road (including the township). These works will include:

  • relocating essential services
  • road reconstruction
  • installing underground drainage, kerb and channel
  • bus stop upgrades
  • line-marking
  • constructing recreational path links
  • controlled vegetation removal
  • constructing retaining walls
  • installing safety barriers.


Works to construct a shared path will also begin along Dudley Road, between property 3 and Wonga Park Primary School, and along Yarra Road between property 368 and the Homestead Road roundabout.

Road closures and detours

During this time, there will be road closures and detours in place on Jumping Creek Road, between Dudley Road and Homestead Road, and on Paynters Road, Toppings Road and Wattletree Avenue.

Emergency services will have unrestricted access to all properties within the construction area.
