Help shape the future of the Hampshire Road playspace

What's being decided?

We’re reviewing the Hampshire Road playspace and want your feedback on the concept design before finalising our plans.

Hampshire Reserve is located at 22 - 26 Hampshire Road in Doncaster.

Background:

We’re upgrading this playspace due to its age and condition, making sure it continues to meet the needs of our community now and into the future.

The proposed upgrade includes:

  • an updated playground area
  • an updated and expanded basketball court
  • a new drinking fountain.
  • new seating, including picnic table
  • new tree planting.

The upgrade is part of our Parks Improvement Program and will be delivered through the 2026/27 Open Space Capital Works Program.

Upgrading the reserve aligns with the Manningham Open Space Strategy, helping us create more accessible and enjoyable public spaces to cater the growing population in Doncaster Hill area.
