Over one hundred people took part, providing Manningham Council and emergency services valuable knowledge that will be used in the development of future engagement projects.
As part of the survey, three $50 VISA gift cards were given away at random to participants. We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey, and congratulate our three winners:

From a large storm resulting in power outages to an unprecedented earthquake - this year has shown us that almost anything can happen. We want to know how prepared you are for an emergency such as storm, flood, fire or heatwave.
The results will help us continue to build the Emergency Aware project that shares preparedness knowledge and experiences from members of the local community.

Guest speakers include the Country Fire Authority, State Emergency Service, Forest Fire Management Victoria, Victoria Police, Fire Rescue Victoria as well as the Warrandyte Community Association.

This online session will be delivered by Manningham Council, together with local emergency services with the aim of helping to prepare you for the impact of fires, storms, floods, extreme heat and other emergencies.
Representatives from Council, CFA, FRV, Victoria Police, SES and DELWP will present on local emergency topics including:
- Fire mitigation works undertaken by Council
- Council’s role within Emergency Management
- How to prepare for Flood, Storm and Fire with the SES and CFA as guest speakers
Community members in attendance will be offered the opportunity to submit questions on the night. Questions not answered on the evening will be recorded and Council will look to provide an answer to all your questions.
If you have questions relating to Council's or an emergency service's role within an emergency that you would like answered at the event, please submit your questions to emergencyaware@manningham.vic.gov.au.
