Dellfield Reserve is a small reserve in Templestowe Lower with a playspace, picnic tables, basketball/netball court, bocce court and an off-lead dog area.

What is happening?

We’re improving Dellfield Reserve Playground as part of our Parks Improvement Program. The project will be delivered under our 2024/25 Open Space Capital Works Program.

The proposed improvements include:

  • upgrade and replacement of play equipment
  • improvements to the access path
  • increased natural shade
  • furniture and drinking fountain upgrades

Where is it?

Dellfield Reserve Playground is located at 54- 58 Dellfield Drive in Templestowe Lower.

Why is it needed?

We’re making improvements to this park due to its age and condition, and to ensure the park meets the community’s needs both now and for years to come.

When is it happening?

Community consultation will be open for feedback from 27 November to 18 December 2024.

Construction is planned to commence from April 2025, subject to weather and contractor availability.

How will the works affect me?

The playground will be closed during construction.

Nearby playgrounds include Sinclair Reserve (570 metres away) on Sinclair Avenue, Templestowe Lower or Lynwood Reserve (one kilometre away) on Lynwood Parade, Templestowe Lower.

We will make every effort to minimise any disruption to residents and visitors.
