We’re reviewing our Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP) and seeking your input on the priorities for managing dogs and cats in Manningham.

All Victorian councils are required to develop a plan every four years under the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

Your feedback will help inform the Domestic Animal Management Plan 2026-2029.

The DAMP provides a framework for how Council manages pets and supports their owners. It guides how we protect the welfare of cats and dogs, while enhancing their safety and quality of life in our community.

Residents are invited to provide feedback on several key areas, including:

  • Registration and identification of dogs and cats
  • Nuisance dogs and cats
  • Dog aggression and attacks
  • Dog walking in Manningham
  • Lost and found animals

Have your say

Have your say by filling out the survey between Monday 2 June and 5.00pm on Sunday 29 June.

Your feedback will help inform the Domestic Animal Management Plan 2026-2029, which will be open for community contributions in August.
