Earlier this year we conducted broad community consultation to inform our approach to arts and culture in Manningham.
Thank you to the over 600 people who have already contributed your say on arts, culture, and our creative community.
We have heard from artists, community groups, cultural groups, young people and children, as well as a broad range of people from across our community about what is important to you.
Your ideas and feedback have helped us to form our Creative Communities Framework which sets out a vision for Manningham as a place where creativity, arts and culture are valued, and the creative community is supported and connected.
We are now seeking your feedback on the framework and our key themes and priorities.
Theme One: Representation
Presenting and platforming the perspectives of our community’s diverse cultural and social identities.
Theme Two: Art in Every Day
Creating opportunities to encounter arts experiences in everyday settings.
Theme Three: Localism
Our program is authentic to the character of local communities and supports local artists and local people.
Theme Four: Creative Ecology
Supporting, connecting and advocating for arts, culture and creative industries.
You can download the full draft Creative Communities Framework and give your feedback.
Take our survey to let us know what you think.
