Council requests Minister approval of Amendment C104 - December 2018
Update December 2018
Council has adopted Amendment C104 and has requested the Minister for Planning to approve the amendment.
Council considered the Amendment C104 Panel and Advisory Committee Report on 11 December and have resolved to adopt the amendment with the changes that were recommended by the Panel. Subject to the approval by the Minister for Planning, the Development Plan will also be approved by Council.
The changes recommended by the Amendment C104 Panel and Advisory Committee were as follows:
The recommended changes to the Amendment generally relate to the content or drafting of the documents to make information more clearer and in particular to:
ensure that the provisions forming part of the Amendment meet the drafting conventions (form and content) recently introduced by the State Government; and
to reflect changes agreed to at the Hearing, between Council officers and the Proponent, to a number of the planning controls forming part of the amendment.
The Panel and Advisory Committee have recommended that the Development Plan be approved subject to changes that:
will ensure consistency between the Development Plan and changes made to the planning provisions, as agreed to during the Hearing process; and
provide greater clarity of the content within the Development Plan.
