Consultation has concluded

The Victorian Government has announced that Manningham will be moving to single Councillor wards for the upcoming Council election. This will mean that Manningham has nine wards instead of three.

We’ve just been asked by the Minister for Local Government to provide a list of names for the nine newly created Council wards and we want your help.

The timeline is short, we'll need your name suggestions by 12 noon on Thursday 21 May 2020.

Each of the ward names should be reflective of the local community and area.

The new wards are currently referred to as Wards A to I - you can provide a suggested name for any or all of the wards.

Simply submit an Idea, pin your suggestions on our Places Map or comment on our Forum below. If you don't have time to register, you can complete our quick survey to tell us your suggestions, this also means your suggestions will not be visible to others on this page.

Your ideas will assist us in naming the new Manningham wards. To help inform the final nine ward names, your Councillors will consider name suggestions along with the connections to the area’s history and future.
