We've expanded Tunstall Square Kindergarten!
This project aims to build a high-quality, purpose-built facility that will cater to the increasing demand for kindergarten places and longer-hour programs in Manningham. Tunstall Square Kindergarten will be the second kindergarten in Manningham to offer a two-room program, accommodating 52 enrolments.
We're delivering this project in partnership with the Victorian Government.
The first stage of the project was completed in April 2024.
The expansion works included:
an additional kindergarten room
new accessible toilets for children and adults
upgrades to the existing ramp and external entrance to provide universal access

Our educators at Tunstall Square Kindergarten are thrilled to welcome families back to the new-look building in term two!
The $1.4 million project to expand the kindergarten was completed in April 2024, bringing with it a range of new features and improvements.
The new space includes a second kindergarten room, which will accommodate an additional 52 enrolments, as well as an accessible ramp and upgraded external entrance for universal access. Children can also enjoy new playspace and landscaping features, including a new multi-use synthetic grass play zone with a soft fall rubber undersurface, water pump, and creek water play area.
Improvements at the entry into the neighbouring Maternal and Child Health Centre.
Environmentally sustainable design was a key consideration for the upgrade which incorporates solar PV systems, energy efficiency, passive design features, and eco-friendly, sustainable material specifications.
