Consultation has concluded

The new design is based on the theme of the ‘Secret Garden’ and includes a large climbing / slide unit, triple swings including a basket swing. A fairy circle and doorway as well as gnome houses will build on the theme.

There will also be new seats, picnic table, concrete access paths through the reserve along with trees and plants. The site size is similar to the existing one. All the old equipment will be removed.

    Feedback has now been collated

During January, we sought feedback from local residents and visitors to Thea Baratta Playspace to help inform our concept plan upgrade.

From the consultation, we received some positive feedback regarding the proposed improvements.

We expect to begin construction works in March, weather permitting.
