Construction Update - January 2026

In summary:

• Construction works have resumed following the pause over the festive season.
• We’re installing a pedestrian operated signal crossing and electronic speed sign on Anderson Street.
• Traffic bollards remain in place to guide traffic and protect newly reinstated nature strips.

Service disruptions:

• A temporary power outage between 4 to 6 hours will be required to complete the installation of bus stop lighting and electronic speed signs.
• The works and timings will be dependent on approval from the Department of Transport and Planning.
• United Energy will provide more details including dates once confirmed.
• There are currently no planned outages for other services.
• We’re working closely with service providers to avoid unexpected disruptions. In the unlikely event of an interruption, the service provider will respond as usual.
