Consultation has concluded

The Road Management Plan guides how Manningham Council responds to and schedules inspections and maintenance work on our roads.

It's now time to review the plan, to ensure our road infrastructure continues to meet Victorian standards and the ongoing needs and safety of our community.

Proposed changes to the plan include:
  1. Improving the clarity around maintenance responsibilities of vehicle crossings and other private assets between private, rural and semi rural environments.
  2. Response times to reported defects were amended to provide better consistency across neighbouring councils in line with advice from the Municipal Association of Victoria.
The draft Road Management Plan is now available for your review. Please complete the submission form below.

    We developed the plan to keep local roads and footpaths well maintained and to ensure we meet the needs of our community for years to come.

    In accordance with the Road Management Act, Manningham Council amended its Road Management Plan after seeking community feedback. The formal submissions have now closed. Thank you again to everyone who contributed.

    The plan was adopted by Council on Tuesday, 23 November 2021 at the Council Meeting.
