Consultation has concluded

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the concept plan for Ranleigh Reserve in Templestowe Lower.

We are currently reviewing the feedback received. The final plan for this park will be available soon.

Ranleigh Reserve is a small reserve, located in a court and servicing the neighbouring residents with its small playspace, planting beds and mature Eucalypts.

We are proposing some improvements for the reserve and have prepared a concept plan, building on the theme of frogs and nature in the existing playspace. The existing play equipment is in good condition and we are proposing to add a few additional play elements. The basketball ring and cricket pitch are proposed to be removed.

Proposed improvements include:

  • a path into the reserve and welcome sign
  • a spinner
  • pebble frog pit with small frog sculptures to find
  • sculptured poles
  • picnic table
  • drinking fountain.

    The upgrade will include:

    • new concrete path from Ranleigh Rise to the playground
    • new seat and picnic table
    • new monkey bars
    • new basketball pad and ring
    • nature play elements including mudstone rocks and logs.

    Construction works will start in November and will take about five weeks to complete.
