New playspace for Pettys Reserve

As part of Manningham’s open space capital works program, the Pettys Reserve playspace in Templestowe is being created.

The upgrade will include:

• New play equipment, including multiplay climbing unit, trampoline and group spinner
• Mound slide with rubber climbing domes
• New access paths and seats
• Yellow mudstone rocks, steppers and balancing logs for nature play
• New trees for shade

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the concept plan, consultation has now closed. Construction will commence on Thursday 8 December, to complete minor earthworks and rock placement with the final equipment installation and landscaping to be completed in February (weather permitting). The works area will be closed to the public during this time, however this will be contained and will not impact access to the sport fields or car parking facilities within Pettys Reserve.

The new playspace in Pettys Reserve is expected to be completed by early 2023.
