Morris Williams Consultation October 2021

Located on Rocklea Road, Bulleen, this reserve offers residents and visitors a variety of recreational choices including a play space, fitness equipment and basketball.

We’re upgrading Morris Williams Reserve in 2022 and would like to hear your feedback on our concept plan. Following community feedback in April, this plan focuses on the playspace and basketball court area.

The proposed upgrade includes:

• New play elements including a climbing net with slide, adventure ropes course, quad swing and junior combination play unit
• Rocks and logs for nature play
• New shade sails
• Larger, coloured multipurpose court with basketball and netball rings
• Additional picnic tables, seats and landscaping.

Morris Williams Reserve is a multi-use space and the proposed improvements will address feedback received by:

• Upgrading and increasing the size of the playspace
• Improving the existing path network (widening existing paths and line marking shared paths)
• Providing a walking track loop around the perimeter of the reserve
• Improving drainage on ‘sports oval’ and providing multipurpose goals.
