Floodlighting upgrade: Koonung Park public courts

We have refurbished and upgraded the public courts and installed new floodlighting at Koonung Park in Bulleen.

These works are part of our Open Space Capital Works Program and are in line with the Koonung Park Management Plan.

Where are the courts located?

Koonung Park public courts are on the corner of Furneaux Grove and Balwyn Road in Bulleen, VIC 3105.

Why is lighting needed?

The new floodlighting has been installed as part of our commitment to improve the access and usability of the courts for the local community.

Lighting provides an opportunity to extend court usage time. This is useful outside of daylight savings time when late afternoon/early evening become dark making the courts unusable.
