Your feedback on Kerry Anne Reserve North and South
Late last year, we sought feedback from local residents and visitors to Kerry Anne Reserve South and Kerry Anne Reserve North in Wonga Park to help inform concept plans for upgrades.
This included preliminary discussions with local residents as part of the Parks Alive program, which was followed by consultation on a proposed concept plans during November and December.
Kerry Anne Reserve North
Some of the overall themes of the feedback received on Kerry Anne Reserve North included:
- that the trees and open space were valued
- requests for a more challenging unit with slide
- retain the open grassed area
Feedback that has been incorporated into the concept plan, included:
- new entry path
- replacing the digger shown on the concept plan with a more challenging play unit and slide
- new swing with a hard adult seat instead of a strap seat
- additional seat and picnic table
- retaining open grassed areas to kick a ball

Kerry Anne Reserve South
Some of the overall themes of the feedback received for Kerry Anne Reserve South included:
- That the tranquility and open space were valued and requests for this to be retained, not to over develop the reserve
- More indigenous planting
Feedback that has been incorporated into the concept plan, includes:
- Creating a contemplative, passive space with minimal landscaping
- New entry path and garden beds
- New seat
- Retaining grassed areas
- Removal of proposed wave seats
