As part of our feedback loop to the community Manningham is pleased to post the Executive Summary of the Imagine Manningham 2040 Engagement Report. This represents the major themes and issues raised in our engagement and forms the basis of our presentation to Councillors. Updating you on where we are up to with our planning for our Liveable City Strategy, Doncaster Hill Strategy and our Community Vision.

Our engagement report is completed and the Executive Summary will be posted soon. The high quality and volume of community inputs have been fed to our urban design consultants who are working on ideas and challenges to put to our Councillors. We expect to have draft plans in July to take it to a newly elected Council in Dec/Jan. These drafts will come back to the community in early 2021.

Meanwhile a series of videos have been made consisting entirely of community voices speaking to camera. These form our community vision and we are still developing the final format.

Manningham would like to thank the community for its generous input to our two months of listening towards the end of 2019. We have reached residents, traders, community groups, and demographics that are often missing from our engagement including children, our Chinese community, CALD groups and a variety of ages.

Nearly 300 people answered our survey and even more attended the community activations and public workshops that we held. We reached over 60,000 people with our social media posts and you may have seen some of the fabulous video of our community, young and old, talking about what their aspirations are for the future of Manningham. We will be posting some of these videos soon.

All the inputs are now being analysed and fed to various Council teams. An urban design consultancy is working on draft plans. The Community Vision is being shaped and expanded. We will be reporting back to you regularly and you can follow these updates on this page.
