How your input shaped the final design

The final design for the Hillcroft Reserve playspace upgrade is available here.

The following additions have been incorporated into the design in response to community feedback:

  • new monkey bars
  • a new tube mound slide
  • a new handrail for the steepest section of the rock staircase
  • more junior play options which includes a new spinner and new junior play panels.


The final design also includes a new:

  • track glide
  • double swing set
  • four-person rocker
  • picnic table area
  • drinking fountain
  • refurbished basketball pad
  • concrete footpath and rock stairway linking Hillcroft Drive and Lawanna Drive; as well as,
  • additional garden beds and trees.


Works are scheduled to begin in February 2025 and take three months to complete, subject to weather.
