Doncaster Reserve playspace upgrade complete

The upgraded Doncaster Reserve playspace is now open for the community to explore and enjoy.

As part of the upgrade, we’ve installed Manningham’s first junior drinking taps. The taps are specifically designed for young children, with lower spouts that are easily accessible to help children stay hydrated while they play.

The upgrade also features a new multi-function play unit, including:

• tunnels
• nets
• slides
• cubby
• monkey bars.

Additional features include childproof fencing and gates, seating, sandpit and new trees for natural shade.

This project was delivered in December 2024 as part of our Parks Improvement Program and funded by our 2024/25 Capital Works Program.
