Why are the Blackburn Dirt Jumps being removed?
Unfortunately there are a number of issues with the site, including safety, access and it sitting in the project boundary for the Eastern Freeway widening.
Can more jumps be built at another site?
We are looking at which sites could be used for dirt jumps and trails. Your feedback will help us identify potential sites to build new jumps and trails.
I want to build jumps with my friends, can I do this?
At the moment we do not allow community members to build dirt jumps on our land. As part of the work we are currently doing, we are exploring how we can safely allow community members to build their own jumps. We will have more to say on this shortly.
Are there any jumps and trails in Manningham that I can use?
We have a set of amateur level jumps at Wonga Park that are open to the public. There are also a variety of maintained trails at Candlebark Park in Templestowe.
