Dehnert Reserve
Consultation has concluded
Dehnert Reserve is a large local corner reserve used as pedestrian access to George Street bus stops and Doncaster Gardens Primary School. The Playground caters for 2-8 years with swings, climbing elements, slide, spinning pole and rocker. There are seats, picnic table and some off street parking. The Reserve is located over a former tributary of Ruffey Creek and has some lovely shady trees.

During November and December last year, we sought feedback from local residents and visitors to Dehnert Playspace to help inform our concept plan upgrade.
From the consultation, we received some positive feedback regarding the proposed improvements.
We also received requests for extra items like fitness equipment and items for older children, however due to location and budget constraints, these were not able to be incorporated into the concept plan for this upgrade.
We expect to begin construction works in March and be completed by end of April, weather permitting.
We thank you again for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
