We have a proposed concept plan based on the feedback you have given us. Tell us your thoughts?

As part of Manningham's Open Space Capital Works and in line with the Parks Improvement Program, some facilities in Bimbadeen Reserve are proposed for improvements, including installing a new fitness circuit.

The improvements include:

  • three new timber fitness stations to create a circuit
  • resting/passing platform on the eastern stairs
  • sealing of the remaining sections of the path circuit
  • low growing trees around some of the existing seats for shade (Eucalyptus leucoxylon ‘Euky Dwarf’ and Eucalyptus pauciflora ‘Little Snowman’)
  • new garden bed on the eastern boundary
  • new drainage to the flat ball games area.

Works on the fitness circuit and landscaping are scheduled to begin in April (subject to supplies and contractor availability) and will be completed over a four week period.
