Manningham residents can now help set the artistic direction of our community for the next four years by providing feedback on two draft art policies, the Draft Manningham Art Collection Policy 2021-24 and Guidelines, and the Draft Public Art Policy 2021-24 and Guidelines.

Draft Manningham Art Collection Policy 2021-24

The focus of the Manningham Art Collection will predominantly shift to permanent public art, with minimal visual art acquisitions, either through Cultural Gifts donations or unique acquisitions with a strong connection to Manningham’s cultural legacy.

Draft Public Art Policy 2021-24

Public art elevates the visual profile of our places and provides insight into our cultural life and community values. A key initiative of Manningham, it includes a commitment where all community infrastructure projects with a budget of more than $2 million would include an allocated one per cent of the total project value dedicated to public art.
