Allara Reserve is a large local park that provides access between The Elms, Allara Court and Serpells Terrace and is in close proximity to two primary schools.  The playspace was last upgraded in 2002 and caters for 2-8 years with swings, climbing and slide unit, rockers as well as a picnic table, seats and drinking fountain. The sloping site provides great views over the rooftops to the surrounding hills.

    As part of Manningham’s playspace development program, this site has been identified for renewal due to its age, condition and use.

    Key features of the upgrade will include:

    • New climbing cube & tunnel slide
    • New triple swings with basket swing
    • New junior mound slide
    • New see-saw
    • New cubby & activity panels
    • New seats and picnic table
    • New trees, plants & landscaping

    Construction works are scheduled to begin in March, weather permitting.
